photo shows the first block of Castro Street one year after the
city's incorporation. From left to right is the Rogers and Rogers
Building, the Mountain View bank building, and the Weilheimer
Building. The Weilheimer Building still stands today. The Rogers
building was home to the city's post office, Mountain View Hotel,
and other stores throughout the years.
