The
Adobe Building was built in 1934 as a WPA project. It was used for a
variety of community purposes through out the years. It was partially
constructed out of adobe bricks made on the site.
The
building was closed due to seismic concerns after the 1989
earthquake. It was reopened to the public in 2001, completely
restored and renovated as a community building.
